2009 Youth Services Activities

Our After School Program is coming back January 15th! Come join us every Thursday from 4:30 - 5:30 pm for crafts, stories, songs and plenty of fun! Bring a friend so they can join in the fun!

We have compiled a list of books from our collection that may interest you. Everything from science facts to experiments that you can try at home.

If you have or know of an organization that would like to see the Every Child Ready to Read presentation, we will be glad to bring it to you! To schedule a time or get answers to any questions you may have, contact Joyce Ullah at (903) 465-1797 x22 or e-mail Joyce Ullah .

Wednesdays, from 9:15 to 9:45 am in the Meeting Room (returning January 14th).

You and baby can learn nursery rhymes, stories, songs, and even signing!  This program is designed for babies 0-2 and their parent/guardian or caretakers.

Interested in a tour of our Library? Tours are scheduled at least one week in advance on Tuesdays-Thursdays.

Read to Win

Children participating receive a free book once a month. Those attending the library session on Thursday receive a free book after four visits. Approximately 300 children are currently enrolled in the Denison Read to Win program.
