Children's Activities

2009

Summer Reading is going on now.

Children ages 2 to those completing 12th grade can sign up to count the number of books or the time they spend reading to earn books and prizes.  Sheets are due by July 18th.

Awards will be given on July 25th.

Read-To-Win

READ TO WIN is held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Each session is designed to promote literacy in young children 18 months to 5 years of age.  Children are introduced to the exciting world of books through stories, finger plays, song and puppets.  Every 4th week visit will earn the child a free book of their choice.  Parents or caregivers attend the program with the children. This is an excellent opportunity to start children on a lifelong adventure of reading!

Due to other library commitments there will be some days the Read to Win will not meet.  Please feel free to attend one of the other days that week. See you there!!
