Texas Reading Club Jublilee!
Kick-off for the Summer Reading Program is May 31st
Children age 2- completing 8th grade
sign up to count the number of books or the time they spend reading to earn books and prizes.
May 31st to August 2nd. Awards will be given on August 9th.
Read-To-Win
READ
TO WIN is
held at 10 a.m. on
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Each session is designed to promote
literacy in young children 18 months to 5 years of age.
Children are introduced to the exciting world of books through stories,
finger plays, song and puppets.
Every 4th week visit will earn the child a free book of
their choice.
Due to other library commitments there will be some days the Read to Win will not meet. Please feel free to attend one of the other days that week. See you there!!

The
Children's Department sponsors the "Can Do Project", an aluminum can
recycling project. Aluminum cans can
be brought to the library during regular operating hours. The money
raised is used to purchase new children's books for the collection.
Books purchased with project funds have a "Can Do Project" gift
plate in the front. Do your part to keep our children buried in good
books!!
Crafty Thursdays- must register each week
for kids 7 years and up
